No english content has been added to this blog for some time. So be it:
As you may or may not have heard already, Joss Whedon made a truly heroific step during the writer’strike in Hollywood and realized an equally cheap, ingenious and funny project called “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along-blog”. It’s a story of a very poor supervillain who falls in love but still has to save himself from being squashed by the super hero over and over.
Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser MD. and this bug science-fiction movie I never can recall the title of), Nathan Fillion (Firefly and Serenity) and Felicia Day (whose face I recognize but don’t know from where) are starring in this little musical (yes, it’s actually sung pretty much!).
Joss Whedon (if you really don’t know him) is the creator of the “Buffy, the vampire slayer“- franchise as well as other tv-show like Firefly (which was made into the Serenity movie) and a famous geek and comic writer and it seems like a big part of his family was involved, too.
The three acts (streamed video) will become available over the next few days for FREE (like in free beer), will then vanish and remain available for paid download (yes, paid like in money, which you all have plenty of, I suppose). Also a DVD containing massive amounts of hilarious material will be made.
